Matrix Innovation Center is a modern campus hosting 90 tenants and 226 parking spaces spread across 4 separate areas. With a badge based system offering zero visibility into usage, misparking and space shortages had become a constant source of frustration. A legacy badge system left both facility managers and tenants in the dark with no way to see occupancy, enforce parking rights, or guarantee employees a space on arrival.

  • Zero parking visibility: the old badge based system provided no insight into occupancy or usage patterns across the 4 parking areas.
  • Frequent misparking: without zone enforcement, employees regularly parked in the wrong area or could not find a space at all.
  • Tenant dissatisfaction: the lack of a reliable and transparent parking process created daily stress for employees and frustration for tenants.
  • No self service for tenants: tenants had no ability to manage their own parking allocations or guest access independently.

License plate recognition, real-time dashboards, and tenant controlled reservations

Izix integrated with Bisner and Brivo replaced the old badge system with a fully digital and data driven parking solution across all 4 lots at Matrix Innovation Center.

  • License plate recognition (ANPR): physical badges replaced by automatic number plate recognition for smooth and frictionless entry and exit.
  • QR code access: an additional access option for guests and occasional visitors without registered plates.
  • Full occupancy dashboard: facility managers, tenants, and employees all have real time visibility into parking capacity and usage.
  • Tenant-managed parking policies: each tenant can define and manage their own parking rules and guest reservations independently via the platform.
  • Employee reservation system: employees can book their space in advance guaranteeing availability and eliminating daily uncertainty.
